Parking / Inappropriate Language / Halloween dress up

Parking

Parking outside school has become a cause for concern as we had a few complaints. I have been asked to remind parents that no vehicles should be parked across residents drive or on the yellow zigzag lines, even if cars are temporarily stopping to collect or drop off children at school.

We need to ensure that there is safe access for all children and parents to enter the school premises whilst dropping off. Currently there is a lot of congestion around the school particularly at the end of the day. Drivers do need to be extremely careful when parking or driving at the end of the school day.

Inappropriate Language

I would like to take this opportunity to ask all parents to refrain from using unacceptable language in the playground, as unfortunately we have received complaints regarding parents swearing when bringing children to and from school.

Can I take this opportunity to remind parents that using inappropriate language is not permitted on school grounds and I ask all parents to think about the language they use when on and around the school grounds.

I also like to remind you that children should not be using the MUGAs, the balances or any other equipment before and after school. This is to ensure their safety, as there are no teaching staff monitoring the areas at that time.

Halloween Dressing Up Day

We are having a Halloween dressing up day as part of our Halloween celebrations on Friday 25th October where the children can dress up in Halloween costumes for the day. There are no cost to this event however; no props are allowed to be brought into school for this event.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support so far this year and we hope you all have a great half term. We look forward to seeing everyone again when we are back to school on Monday 4th November.

Please note: There are no open afternoon for any of the classes on Friday 25th October therefore the children will be finishing school at normal finishing time. I would like to make all parents aware that there are no after school clubs taking place in school on the first week back to school. You will be notified by letter when we return to inform you which classes will be back on and there will be an opportunity for children to sign up for new classes.
