PD DAY – MONDAY 9TH DECEMBER

I like to remind all parents that school will be closed on Monday 9th December for a P D Day. The children will return back to school on Tuesday 10th December.

POLLING DAY SCHOOL CLOSURE – THURSDAY 12th DECEMBER.

We have again been chosen as a designated polling station for the upcoming Election on Thursday 12th December, whilst we would normally try our hardest to stay open, on this occasion we feel that we need to close the school. The importance of this election means that there will be a much higher number of people having access to the school site, which generates other risk factors.   The health and safety of your children is always at the forefront of every decision that we make, I understand that this will cause some inconvenience to families and I can only apologise for this.

The government does allow schools to close when they are polling stations if the school feels that it prudent to do so. Again, I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

If you have any questions then please get in touch with school.
